Courtney Sherron Solomon Scholarship Foundation Incorporated, is delighted to announce the momentous celebration of the 50th anniversary of our esteemed Vice President, Yvonne Solomon, as a devoted member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. To commemorate this extraordinary milestone, the Foundation hosted an elegant and tasteful charcuterie luncheon at the Lathrup Village Community Center, in Southfield, Michigan.
Held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, the charcuterie luncheon was designed to honor the outstanding dedication and longstanding commitment of the Vice President to the ideals and values of the sorority. The event brought together a diverse group of family, friends and sorority members, who had a fantastic time at this momentous occasion.
Please join us in congratulating our Vice President on reaching this remarkable milestone as a dedicated member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Her contributions to the sorority and the broader community while working with the Courtney Sherron Solomon Scholarship Foundation Incorporated has been immeasurable, and we are immensely proud to have her as a valued member of our esteemed organization.

On Saturday, July 16, 2022, the Courtney Sherron Solomon Scholarship Foundation Incorporated, (C.S.S.S.F. INC.), held a special luncheon for family, friends and supporters who have been an instrumental part of our foundation over the years. This was our way of “giving back” to those who are also advocates for education and believe in providing opportunities in the community that will help our youth advance in their educational pursuits.
As we move into Spring of 2023, visit our website for the launching of our applications for scholarships, book awards and community assistance grants. We look forward to old and new supporters as we help our youth make their dreams a reality in becoming future leaders!
