A LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Robert A. Solomon, M.D.
Co-Founder, President & CEO
COURTNEY SHERRON SOLOMON
My sister, Courtney Sherron Solomon, was a strong advocate of education and believed in giving back to the community. She loved learning and instilled in me the recipe for success included “Education, Drive and Determination”.
She believed in me, and helped me believe in myself and I realized my opportunities were endless!
Our Foundation’s aim is to improve the quality of education by providing services to vulnerable children and young adults that will strengthen the community and enable families and individuals to move toward their goals.
As a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, her love of helping others was further enhanced by initiatives they established that strongly resonated with her personal and professional goals.
Her legacy lives on through me, and it is my mission to help others attain their educational pursuits by raising funds to administer academic scholarships in her memory.
Thank you in advance for your generous donation.
Your assistance and support will help us achieve our goal!
With Kind Regards,
Robert Alex Solomon, M.D.

Co-Founder & Eternal Inspiration
My sister, Denise W. Sharpe, was beautiful, caring and smart and from a young age, “giving back”, came easy to her like the air you breathe.
She was the African American historian and social advocate in our family, and made sure her niece and nephew, Courtney and Robert Solomon, who were also her Godchildren, understood from an early age the importance of “Giving Back to the Community" and “Each one, Teach one”. She led by example!
When she was diagnosed with cancer, her commitment to community service did not waver. She continued to teach adults to read, joined the mayor and others in her city on community service projects, was still persistent in organizing and facilitating “Martin Luther King Jr. Day”, at her place of employment, volunteered with her beloved sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, and worked tirelessly on “Courtney Sherron Solomon Scholarship Foundation, Incorporated”.
Even in pain she gave back and taught her family and friends that in “Servicing Mankind”, you don’t take the easy way out!
Love you my beautiful sister!
